NBA Playoffs LISTEN: LeBron James Powers Lakers Past Grizzlies; Heat Stun Bucks

The Mavs Step Back Podcast keeps you up to date with everything going on in the NBA playoffs, as well as everything happening with the Dallas Mavericks as they wait for the May 16 draft lottery.

With the Dallas Mavericks sitting at home twiddling their thumbs for the postseason, the Mavs Step Back Podcast is committed to keeping listeners up to date with everything happening in the NBA playoffs as everyone awaits the highly-anticipated draft lottery on May 16.

On Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat both took 3-1 leads in their first-round series in thrilling fashion. LeBron James hit clutch shots at the end of regulation and in overtime to give the Lakers a 117-111 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, and Jimmy Butler poured in 56 points to give the Heat a 119-114 win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks.

James, who is 38 years old, became the oldest player in NBA history to record a 20-point, 20-rebound playoff game, surpassing Wilt Chamberlain, who did it at 36 years old.

Today’s episode recaps both of those games at length, looks ahead to Tuesday’s NBA playoffs slate and also discusses the latest going on with the Mavs. Stay tuned for Wednesday’s episode, where we’ll recap more playoffs action and look ahead to what Luka Doncic must improve on heading into his sixth season.
