Former Dallas Mavericks point guard DeRon Williams details Kyrie Irving's elite ball-handling ability and overall skill.

JULY 12 MAV ON MAV COMMENTARY

Kyrie Irving is the ultimate ball-handler, which is like saying the sky is blue. However, hearing a former NBA All-Star praise and marvel over the Dallas Mavericks star makes for a compelling moment. In a recent interview, Deron Wiliams waxed poetically about Irving's wizardly basketball magic.

"Kyrie is the most skilled person I've ever seen," Williams stated.

Only a few players are great enough at a specific skill to earn unanimous praise leaguewide. For example, Stephen Curry is the best shooter of all time, or Vince Carter is the best in-game dunker; in this case, Irving is the best hall-handler.

Williams continued by providing examples of why Irving's skill level warrants the ultimate compliment.

While such an era wouldn't feature Carter's prime ratings, the Tatum-Doncic timeline will showcase the high-flying forward.

Kyrie Irving hasn't missed a beat since he departed from Nike in 2023. Upon leaving the massive shoe company, Irving negotiated a significant deal with Anta, the Chinese shoe company. In recent news, Irving's shoe line, the Kai 1's, has a new colorway for fans to purchase.
