"[It's] simple, because he's Kyrie Irving," Dončić told reporters. "I mean, I get to see it every day. It still amazes me to this day It will still amaze me until the end of [the] days we play together. It's just unbelievable. Even in practice, you can see some of this stuff. He plays the same in the game, so it's just unbelievable to watch and enjoy it."

Dončić added: "You can see he's never going to be the tallest guy on the floor, and the way he finishes with the ball is just unbelievable. And then [there is] his jump shot. Every time he goes up, I just feel he can't miss."

Irving finished the game with 18 points, shooting 6-11 from the field. The strong efforts from the talented tandem helped the Mavericks jump back above .500 after their four-game losing streak that preceded the current winning streak.
